BRAMPTON - Peel police have recovered stolen vehicles they say were used in at least five residential break-ins since the beginning of the year.
They have also made an arrest in the case this week. They say homes were being targetted for electronics, and mostly plasma and LCD TVs. They are looking at other break-ins around Brampton and Mississauga to see if there are any connections.
The last break-in happened on Chadwick Street in early October. The first was on Scotia Drive.
Ryan Robert Green, 23, of no fixed address, faces five charges of break, enter and theft, and four counts of possession of stolen property.
The investigation is continuing by 22 Division Break and Enter Unit. Anyone with information is asked to call 905-453-3311, ext. 2233, or Peel Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
