BRAMPTON - Peel Regional Police are searching for a 15-year-old Lincoln M. Alexander Secondary School student who went missing Tuesday morning.
Shantal Samuel was last seen at the Malton high school at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
She resides in the Goreway Dr. and Castlemore Rd. area of Brampton.
Peel Cst. J.P. Valade said Samuel had been counselled about her behaviour by her parents, police and school officials just before she disappeared.
"She has not been seen since that time and investigators are now concerned for her well-being," Valade said.
Samuel is described as black, five-foot-five, 180 pounds, with black hair that she wears in a pony tail. She was last seen wearing a pink sweater, a brown corduroy skirt and a cream-coloured hooded nylon jacket with gold flowers and a zipper front.
Samuel is developmentally delayed and operates at the capacity of an 11-year-old.
Anyone with information is asked to call police at 905-453-3311.
