BRAMPTON - Volunteers are needed Saturday for the annual fall tree planting in Brampton’s Claireville Conservation Area.
It’s a family-friendly event that runs from 10 a.m. to noon. Groups are welcome and shovels are provided. The trees are planted rain or shine.
The planting is organized by the Friends of Claireville and the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority.
Anyone interested in helping should meet organizers off McVean Drive, north of Queen Street East, in a parkette at the end of Bonnieview Court.
For more information, contact John Willetts at 905-792-7798 or email johnwilletts@rogers.com.
