Remembrance Day should not be a holiday

I do not agree that Remembrance Day should be a holiday, for the schools or general public.
Likely only about 10 per cent of the public would attend services and the rest would simply treat it as a day off.
As a student, we always paraded as a school, with flowers we brought to school, to a cenotaph and attended a service there.
If we want the young to respect vets of the World Wars, perhaps we should go back to this kind of formal service.
