Regular weekly youth orchestra rehearsals are on Tuesday from 6:15 to 7:30 p.m. in the Rose Studio Theatre. The BSO Youth Orchestra will perform four concerts at the Rose Theatre called BSO Youth Orchestra Short Shows starting Sat. Nov. 1 at 2 p.m.
The new BSO Chorus is open to all adult residents of Peel region and will now audition annually from scratch to ensure the highest possible quality as well as give equal opportunity to everyone in the community. Applicants must sing scales plus sections of the Handel Hallelujah Chorus. All regular weekly BSO Chorus rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. in the Rose Studio Theatre under the direction of BSO Principal Conductor Robert Raines starting Oct. 8. This year's season includes performances of The Messiah at Christmas 2008 and the monumental tour de force Mozart Requiem in May 2009 accompanied by the entire Brampton Symphony Orchestra in Rose Theatre Brampton.
