Local trustee wins post at association

BRAMPTON - Brampton Trustee David Green has been appointed a vice-chair with Ontario’s school board association.
The local representative for Wards 1 and 3 was appointed at last month’s annual general meeting of the Ontario Public School Boards’ Association (OPSBA). He will serve as vice-chair for OPSBA’s Central West Region.

He will also serve as the alternate representative on the Education Program Work Group.                                                                     
The association represents more than 50 school boards across the province— acting as an influential advocacy group that carries some significant weight at Queen’s Park.
