Students and staff at Notre Dame Secondary School collected more than 16,000 pounds of food for a local food bank.
The school’s annual fall food drive held Nov. 3-7 brought in 16,308 pounds of food for the Ste. Louise Outreach Centre, which operates a food bank for people in crisis.
The effort tops collection totals for the last few campaigns, including last year when gathered about 16,000 pounds of food for the community.
