BRAMPTON, ON. (March 17, 2008) – Region of Peel offices and non-emergency services will be closed on Friday, March 21, 2008 for the Good Friday holiday. Region of Peel headquarters and most offices will re-open for regular business on Monday, March 24, 2008.
There will be no changes to waste collection services in the Cities of Brampton and Mississauga on Good Friday, March 21 or Monday, March 24. Garbage and recycling (blue box and green bin) will be collected on the regularly scheduled waste collection day.
There will be no waste collection services in the Town of Caledon on Friday, March 21. Garbage and recycling (blue box and green bin) will be collected one day later on Saturday, March 22. Regular waste collection services will resume the week of March 24 – all collection days will remain the same during that week.
Peel’s Community Recycling Centres will be closed on Friday, March 21, Sunday, March 23 and Monday, March 24.

The Peel Heritage Complex will be closed on Friday, March 21 but will be open on Sunday, March 23 and Monday, March 24.
Ontario Works in Peel will be closed from Friday, March 21 to Monday, March 24. Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, March 25.
TransHelp taxi providers will operate on a holiday schedule from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, March 21; however the office will be closed. Saturday, March 22 and Sunday, March 23 service will be provided by taxis and buses from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. and on Monday, March 24 regular hours of operation will resume.
Child Care Centres will be closed on Friday, March 21 and will re-open on Monday, March 24.
Peel Public Health Reception (44 Peel Centre Dr.) will be closed on Friday, March 21 and will resume regular business hours of 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Monday, March 24.
All Health Sexuality Clinics will be closed on Friday, March 21 and Monday, March 24. The Bolton Clinic will operate on Tuesday, March 25 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. and will resume regular hours of operation on Monday, March 31.
All services offered at Meadowvale, Bolton and Brampton Breastfeeding Clinics will be closed on Friday, March 21 and Monday, March 24 and will re-open on Tuesday, March 25.
Peel Access to Housing, Peel Living and Rent Supplement offices will be closed on Friday, March 21, re-opening on Monday, March 24 at 8:30 a.m.
