Mississauga – Investigators from the Peel Regional Police Special Victims Unit arrested a 42 year-old Mississauga man in connection with inappropriately touching children at a Mississauga pool. 

On Saturday, March 22, 2008, the suspect, David Paul NAIDU, attended the public pool at the Mississauga Valley Community Centre at 1275 Mississauga Valley Boulevard. While in the pool, the suspect is alleged to have submerged underwater and inappropriately touched a 12 year-old girl, a 7 year-old boy and a 5 year-old boy. The victims notified their parents, who notified the staff members. 

Uniform Peel Regional Police officers attended and took NAIDU into custody. He was held for a bail hearing and stands charged with three counts of Sexual Assault and three counts of Sexual Interference.

Investigators are concerned this may not have been an isolated incident. Anyone with information, or who may have come into contact with David Paul NAIDU in a location in which children frequent, is asked to contact the Special Victims Unit at (905) 453-2121 Ext. 3460, or anonymously through Peel Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

David Paul NAIDU is descried as a male of Asian descent 5’8, 156 lbs with a medium build.
