Mississauga – A missing elderly man suffering from dementia and memory loss, who went missing from his home in the Dixie and Dundas area, has been located.
Peter MOSYCHUK, age 71, was discovered missing by his son at approximately 9:15 pm on Thursday, May 1, 2008. Due to the inclement weather and Mr. Mosychuk’s medical condition, investigators were extremely concerned for his safety.
On Friday, May 2, 2008, at approximately 9:30 am, a disoriented man was discovered in a bus shelter in the Mavis Road and Burnhamthorpe Road area. He was transported by ambulance to a local hospital. At approximately 11:30 am, his identity was confirmed and officers were dispatched.
Mr. Mosychuk is in good health and was uninjured.
