Mississauga – Post mortem results from Thursday, May 1, 2008, have confirmed that the death of a 41 year old man on board an Aeroflot flight was not suspicious.
On Wednesday, April 30, 2008, the 41 year old man from Russia was traveling on a flight from Moscow to Pearson International Airport in Mississauga. At some point during the flight, he was located with vital signs absent. Peel Regional Police officers responded and conducted a thorough investigation, interviewing all passengers that were present.
A post mortem has concluded that there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death, although the exact cause of death is still to be determined pending toxicology results.
The victim cannot be identified at this time pending notification of next of kin.
