BRAMPTON -

Mississauga – Peel Regional Police and Toronto Police Service would like to remind the business premises located at 1645 and 1655 Sismet Road in Mississauga will continue to remain closed due to safety concerns.

On Tuesday, April 29, 2008, the Toronto Police Service, assisted by the Peel Regional Police Service, executed a drug-related search warrant at an industrial unit at 1645 Sismet Road in Mississauga.

On Sunday, May 4, 2008, a building inspector designated the buildings to be “unsafe”.  The site will remain closed to public access until the working environments on Sismet Road are deemed to be safe.

For further inquiries tenants should contact their property management at 416-265-5055 extension 28.

The efforts in dismantling this Methamphetamine lab are still ongoing.  At this time, the chemicals which are still present within the building pose a significant danger.

We continue to appreciate the cooperation provided by the affected citizens.
