BRAMPTON - Peel – In the advent of many bicycles being recovered throughout the Greater Toronto Area during police investigations, it has become apparent that few owners have registered their bikes.
Officers from the 11 Division Neighbourhood Policing Unit are encouraging all bike owners to take advantage of the simple process of registering their bike with the Peel Regional Police. This assists owners in recovering their bike in the event that it is stolen or missing, and subsequently recovered by police.
Residents can attend any local police division or community station in the Region, where registration forms are available. Please visit the Peel Regional Police website for a location nearest you [Police Divisions ].
Once registered, a tag will be added to the bicycle frame. For a photograph of the registration tag please click on the following link [registration tag ].
