Peel Police - Police Seek Assistance in Identifying Sexual Assault Suspect

Mississauga – Investigators from the Special Victims Unit are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in a recent sexual assault.

 

On Friday, August 22, 2008, at 8:30 p.m., an 11 year old boy was sexually assaulted while in the change room at the South Common Community Centre located at 2233 South Millway.

 

The suspect is described as male, white, with a heavy build. He is balding with white hair and appears to be approximately 60 years old. He has a white goatee and wears glasses.

Anyone who has information regarding the suspect’s identity is urged to contact investigators in the Special Victims Unit at (905) 453-3311, ext. 3460. Investigators would like to speak to anyone who was at the South Common Community Centre on August 22, and may have information regarding this incident. Citizens may also leave an anonymous tip by calling Peel Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
