BRAMPTON - Brampton - Peel Regional Police are inviting the media to attend the kick-off for the 16th Annual Toys for Tots Campaign. Last year over 6,000 children in the region were provided with gifts after $760,000.00 was raised. The Brampton kick-off will be held at the Canadian Tire store located at 499 Main Street, in Brampton.

WHO:             Chief Mike Metcalf and members of Peel Regional Police.

                        Ms. Preet Kang – Region of Peel Police Services Board

                        Representatives from Brampton Canadian Tire stores.

                        Major Sharp and representative from the Brampton Salvation Army.

                        Mayor Susan Fennell – City of Brampton

                        Regional Councillor John Sanderson (Wards 3 & 4).

Deputy Chief Gary Lagerquist, Deputy Chief Matt Pegg, members of the Brampton Fire Department and ‘Sparky the Fire Dog’              

                        Brampton Battalion team captain Cody Hodgson and team mascot ‘Sarge’.

                        Santa – North Pole

 

Light refreshments will be served after a short cheque presentation to Toys for Tots from the four Canadian Tire stores in Brampton.
