BRAMPTON -

BRAMPTON, ON. (Nov. 21) – Professional development days just got a little more fun! Let your child explore their artistic side with an Art ‘n’ Theatre Extravaganza on Friday, Dec. 5 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Peel Heritage Complex (PHC) located at 9 Wellington St. E., Brampton.

The PHC, along with Do Your Thing Productions have joined together to offer a full day of artistic inspiration by some of the industry’s best working professionals. Students will begin their day with an art workshop where they’ll work with paint, markers and glue to get their creative juices flowing. After lunch, children will focus on aspects of theatre life and take part in improv, comedy and a variety of theatre games.

“This is a great opportunity for children to get their feet wet in art and theatre,’ says Josie Premzell, Development Officer at the PHC. “The kids will get a little taste of some of what the art and theatre world offers and let them have fun at the same time.”

The cost of the Art ‘n’ Theatre Extravaganza is $60 and is designed for children 6-12 years of age. Students are requested to bring their lunch and snacks with them. Please keep in mind we are a peanut-free environment.

For more information, contact the PHC at 905-791-4055.
