BRAMPTON -

Sara attended St. Leonard's Elementary School and has always been a good student academically. Her favorite subjects are drama, English and vocal, although she excels in math. She auditioned for the school play and was a wife in the production of 'Joseph'. In her free time she enjoys singing, acting, reading and writing. She aspires to be a great novelist. Currently in Grade 10, Sara earned Knight's Club honours by achieving an average of 91.25 per cent in Grade 9 last year.
Maryann is currently in Grade 10 and involved in school athletics.  She plays basketball and softball. She has been playing rep softball since she was eight-years-old and has been awarded Most Valuable Player several times. Last year, she was awarded "Best Defensive Player" in house league. She also won gold at the provincials as a member of the Brampton Blazers softball team and earned silver in the Eastern Canadians Softball Championship held in New Brunswick. Her favorite subjects are French, art, and math. She volunteer's as a Children's Liturgy Leader for St. Leonard's Church. She aspires to be a high school teacher. Maryann earned Knight's Club honours by achieving an average of 91.37 per cent in Grade 9 last year.

Sara and Maryann were honoured as two of the school's top Grade 9 academic achievers during award ceremonies this year.
